Where the Wild Things Should Be

This may get pulled down soon but for now take a look at this early, circa 1983 animation test that John Lasseter (director of such great work like “Toy Story” and now the head of Pixar) did for “Where The Wild Things Are”. Not only does it show the starting ground/process of what modern animation does now a days but it shows what could have been most likely more entertaining than the actual movie that is out now.

ENJOY!

MH  **Please note I did enjoy some aspects of the movie like the creatures, you cannot beat Jim Henson Studios but a movie about anger should be angry don’t you think?

I love how even in 1983 the guys who eventually became Pixar were doing better work than some of the people now who have more resources in their computer than the whole studio back then. It really emphasizes how art quality can’t be made up for with technology.
