So here’s a quick post that’s been sitting in my notebook for a while I needed to dump. This also relates to the Shepard Fairey post a day ago, which generated a few questions from designers I know about what is and isn’t copyright as pertaining to their full time and freelance work.

This article by Freelance Switch is probably the best sum up and primer I’ve ever come across on the subject, linking to other great articles and even covering the Creative Commons licensing options (often something Copyright Gurus leave out of their explanations).

Really one of those must read articles for any creative professional. Should clear up most questions on the matter people are having.
