Allow me to introduce myself…
Well, this my first post here in Freedom of Sketch and I am excited for it . I’m lying, I am not looking forward to this at all… I don’t want to hurt Jeff’s feelings. My name is Michael Hyneman. I too am a Graphic Designer, but also a Motion Designer… er, rather, I am a Graphic Designer trying to break into Motion. I think for now my posts after this intro will consist of what I think is going on in the world of Motion and maybe document my efforts to “break” into a place like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, North South, The Institute (Michael Bay’s little monster right there), Digital Kitchen and etc.
I am also currently trying to find a new voice if you will for my portfolio site. Most of my work is very grunge or distressed in some way, shape or form. I like that feel, to me it is very emotional and people can relate to it easier than say what is clean and out there most of the time (not that clean and what is out there is what I CANNOT do, I just have a preference for the grunge and unclean looking design).
OK, intro out of the way for now. I guess I will leave on a note like this: I hope you will check back regularly and find the stuff the five designers on this page have to say or think to be thoughtful, creative and at least a little intelligent. If I miss anything in a post that another Designer (Print, Web or Motion) who visits here thinks something else or has something else to offer drop me a line and let me know.
Well, I’m going back to hitting the pavement and trying to find a job in the field. Thanks for reading, hope you come back.

Yeah, but you’ve never been one to avoid my feelings before, Mike. Good to have you on.
